#1 Ironing Clothes without an iron
Ditch the iron or handheld steamer and just grab some ice if you want to get wrinkles out of a shirt or slacks. Put two or three ice cubes in the dryer along with one or two pieces of clothing and place it on the hottest setting. The ice melts and turns to steam, getting the wrinkles out. This trick isn’t as effective with heavier clothing, but it’s a miracle on lighter fabrics. The best part is that you don’t have to set the dryer for longer than 10 minutes or so for it to work.

#2 How to keep buttons from falling off
Most of our clothes have buttons, whether these are summer or winter clothes. We’re sure that at one point or another you’re either lost or had a button fall off, which unfortunately can be a bit embarrassing. In order to avoid this situation, we have the easiest solutions for you. Try painting over the button with some clear nail polish. This way you secure the string that holds the button in place, while at the same time making them even shinier than before.

#3 How to get rid of bad shoe odor
If you have bad-smelling shoes, place a few dry tea bags inside each shoe to absorb the smell. If your shoes are not just smelly but also wet, fill them with a mixture of rice and baking soda and leave for a few days. This is a quick and efficient way of cleaning your shoe, while avoiding all the fuss of washing and waiting for them to dry.

#4 How to Remover sweater fuzz from sweaters
A lot of winters clothes stay in the cupboard as excess pilling makes them look dull and worn-out. Removing such pilling and those tiny lint balls can be quite tiresome. To get rid of these, you will need an old razor to remove pilling on clothes! So, we tried this genius hack and here’s how you can do it:
- Use any disposable razor (not the one blade ones) for this hack. Also, don’t go for the new and sharp razors.
- Then, place your sweater on a flat surface and hold it tightly near the affected area.
- Now, slowly move the razor up and down to remove the sweater pills.
And that’s how you can de-pill any winter outfit!
*Always use the razor carefully around designs, seams, and buttons to avoid any cuts.
